Mian Muhammad Trust Hospital was established as a child & maternity clinic in the heart of Faisalabad City by Late Al-Haj Sheikh Mian Muhammad back in 1960’s and was up graded into a hospital in 1967. It was the dream of the founder to serve the poor at a time when the whole city lacked required health Facilities.
Today Mian Muhammad Trust Hospital stands as a Multidisciplinary 194 bedded hospital which is duly recognized by “PAKISTAN CENTER FOR PHILANTHROPY”, a reputed international agency that evaluates status of NGO’s / NPO’s. Hospital is also given Permanent license and registration by “PUNJAB HEALTHCARE COMMISSION”.
Hospital medical and pediatric emergencies function 24 hours and treatment is free, less patient replaces spent medicine. All procedures and management i.e. injections, drips and dressings are provided free of charges.
Recently, hospital established a brand new gynae department named as FAZAL E AHMAD BLOCK in which modern facilities are providing on subsidized rates.
The Hospital is also running a midwifery school, which offers a diploma course recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council. The students are provided proper accommodation, schooling & meals free of cost.
The present Board of Trustees represent the third generation of the family and the members are from prominent sectors of the Country. The chairman of the trust is an Economics Graduate from the University of the Cambridge and a knowledgeable person. They all team up for continuous advancement and plan to elevate the hospital by improving the hospital facilities.
